Our club meets the third Thursday of every month at the Lethbridge Public Library Theatre Gallery starting at 6:30. For a complete listing of our meeting dates please check the calendar.
If you are new to us, you are more than welcome to come and try us out for a meeting before deciding to join.
We encourage education, discussion, entertainment and inspiration on anything that relates to the art and science of photography. Our monthly meetings usually consist of at least one educational segment, a been there slide show, as well as a member-produced secret assignment or photo-essay. We also have a monthly theme which all members are invited to participate in.
We often plan field trips both in and around Lethbridge as well as some which take a little longer to get to. We try to vary the topics both in our field trips and in our meetings so that you will enjoy your time with us whether you like to photograph landscapes, portraits, flowers, abstracts or even if you dabble in photo journalism.
We encourage open discussion on images and provide opportunities for members to display their work both during the regular meetings, casual meetings and at club events such as exhibitions and our annual multi-media image presentation, Photofusion.

We have been asked if any club members would like to take photos at the Alberta Summer Games- July 26-29. We would not be the official photographers but they are looking for people to shoot for an ongoing powerpoint at the Food Centre and Athletes Village. If you would like to offer your time please contact them directly. The website is www.2012albertasummergames.ca .
On June 9 the Calgary Zoo is hosting a photography event that will allow you to shoot at times when other visitors are not in facility. Their website is www.calgaryzoo.com . Just scroll down under event.
On June 9 Rod Schultz has arranged entry for us, to the abandoned Turner Valley Gas Plant. More details to follow.
Our year-end BBQ will be held June 13, 6pm, at the Coaldale Kin Picnic shelter. Details to follow.
